Meet the Principal

Porsha Eubanks

Principal

Porsha Eubanks has dedicated over 19 years to education, following in the footsteps of her mother. She began her journey in Southfield Public Schools as a student teacher and has worked her way up to her current role as Principal. Education is a family affair for Ms. Eubanks—her sister and brother also work for the district, and all of her nieces and nephews attend Southfield Public Schools. She believes that school should be an engaging and enjoyable experience, where scholars love coming to learn. All of Ms. Eubanks’ decisions are student- and data-driven, with a primary focus on supporting scholars’ growth and development to help them become productive, well-rounded individuals. She looks forward to continuing to lead Thompson K-8 International Academy to greatness.
